This program enables children with autism or PDD and their families recharge, enjoy normal leisure experience just like everybody else, and to have some quality time together.

Children with autism or PDD need intensive and alert supervision throughout the day, every day. Our children and their families desperately need occasional change of atmosphere and vacation in order to recharge.

Children with autism do not fit to use regular hotels, resorts etc. On the one hand, our children cannot stay in regular hotels or resorts for fear for their safety since these places do not have the professional supervision required. On he other hand, private professional caregivers are difficult to find and are too costly for most families. Under these circumstances, the parents have to supervise the children themselves, and thus cannot rest.

1. Summer camps: We run special Summer Camps for autistic children and their families every summer for the last 7 years in three locations:

• By the Dead Sea,
• in Kibbuz Tsuba and in
• Carmiel.

In thess camps they enjoy wide range of activities like treating animals, extreme sports that are especially modulated for them, arts and crafts, sweeming, exciting trips etc...

The summer camps are 4 days 3 nights programs designed for 25-50 children with autism, and their families .

2. Weekend sleepover camps: These camps are designed to give the autistic youth an experience of independence away from home, in an environment that is still safe and well guarded. This program operated in number of places all over the country.

3. Long Weekends' retreats in Carmiel: throughout the year – in Alut's unique facility in Carmiel – Aluteva, where the families can enjoy a leisurely weekend (Thursday afternoon – Sunday morning) in the beautiful Galilee while their autistic children enjoy a rich program in the facility – supervised by highly professional staff.
