Research had proven that the earlier and the more intensive the treatments for autistic children are , the better are the results.
Since we started this program, over 50% of its graduates has been included in the normative system in various degrees. The others also had enjoyed significantly better autonomy and communication skills.

The Rehabilitation Nursery School (RNS) or as we call it- ALUTAF is an intensive program for around 8-14 autistic infants in each class. It operates 6 days a week, 8 hours a day for 11.5 months a year.
Alut operates 10 such Alutafs, with 124 infants attending them.
The programs, individually tailored for each infant and include:
- communication therapy,
- speech therapy,
- music therapy,
- social skills training,
- behavioral treatment (ABA),
- Inclusion program with the normative system,
In addition the professional staff meet with each pair of parents 1-2 times a month to support them and enable continuation between the school and home environments.

Vision\Mission: |

Aluts` mission is to ensure the welbeing, rehabilitation, and the economical and social future of people with autism in Israel. Alut?takes care of the autistic child and his/her family from the day of diagnosis throughout their life.

Goal : |
|
Alut operates in four levels:
1.Raising awareness to autism among young parents and professionals of all the factions of the Israeli society- to facilitate early diagnosis.
2. Operating various rehabilitation frameworks: a diagnosis center in Assaf medical center; 10 Rehabilitation nursery schools for ages 1.5-3 years; supporting many communication kindergartens; 9 occupational centers ; 18 Homes for Life; 5 family centers.
3. Training: Various training courses for professionals in the care of autistic people (inclusion instructors, behavioral treatments, and more).
4. Advocacy: Alut leads campaigns on behalf of the autistic people in Israel ,in the Knesset and through supreme court appeals, , to improve the services given to them.

Alut`s is the only organization that focuses solely on the needs of autistic people, nation wide. Our activities cover all their life span from the diagnosis at the age of 18 months and onward. In Alut they find professionalism and care in a broad sense. Alut is a network of people and services for people on the spectrum of autism and their families.
