NPO's post
their projects on an electronic questionnaire. Every request is checked in our
back office before it can go online. Moreover, Israeli law requires that NPOs
be annually controlled and monitored by the not - for - profit organizations
(Amutot) registrar. The registrar provides an annual certificate of proper
management that is posted on the project card's organizational ID tab. Other
NPO's around the world need to satisfy IRS guidelines for international grant
making so that they can meet tax-deductible requirements and high standards of
site acceptance. A rating system (that will become active in few months time)
is also being designed to enable you to provide feedback and grade NPO's for
their benefit as well as for the donors.

Jewish
Giving Online, Inc Foundation (JGOL) was established in the USA to
provide US citizens with tax exempt status. Jewish Giving Online
Foundations is 501(c)3 pending. Jewish Giving Online Foundation
as well as other foundations will provide services to donors. Israel Giving
Online Foundation is in formation and will provide tax exemption for Israeli
citizens.
History
JGooders
founders: Ronit Dolev, Smadar Fogel, Judith Stern Peck and Jaap Meijers have
been involved, together and separately, in the Israeli and Jewish world for
more than 2 decades as social entrepreneurs, leaders and philanthropists: from
leading Project Renewal to initiating the incredibly successful Partnership
2000 project. They sit on many boards and consult to many foundations and
non-profit organizations. Based on their broad knowledge and experience
JGooders was founded, offering a web based platform that can upgrade
knowledge, create connections and enrich this rapidly growing marketplace of
good deeds and good doers.
